Alice JOUNEAU

Research Scientist, project leader in developmental biology and stem cell research

My main project is to understand how pluripotency is established in the mammalian embryo and how it is controlled at the molecular and epigenetic levels. I have an internationally recognized expertise and more than 20 papers in mammalian embryo development and pluripotency in mammalian species. I have developed and used several approaches such as high throughput analyses (transcriptome and epigenome), cell biology and imaging, and in vitro derivation of cell lines from epiblast and trophoblast
