Alfredo Mayoral
I currently work at the ICAC-Institut Català d'Arqueología Clàssica (Tarragona, Spain). My research concerns geoarchaeology, geomorphology, landscape archaeology and multi-proxy palaeoenvironmental studies. I am interested in pre- and protohistoric but also historical socio-environmental interaction, and especially in environmental impacts and landscape changes linked with the emergence of complex societies, proto-urbanization processes and development of urban settlements in circum-Mediterranean areas.
