Short Biography


Ahmed MAALEL has a PhD in Computer Science. He is currently assistant professor at Higher Institute of Applied Science and Technology of Sousse (ISSATSo), University of Sousse, Tunisia. He is a Researcher at RIADI laboratory, National School of Computer Sciences (ENSI Tunisia). His research interests are related to these topics: Machine Learning, Support Decision Systems, Knowledge Management and Semantic Web. He served as technical chair, TPC member and reviewer for many leading international CS conferences and journals. He is IEEE Senior Member and Co-Founder and President of Association of Scientific Research and Innovation in Computer Science  ARSII.

He has been appointed Horizon 2020 National Contact Point for Information & Communication Technologies (NCP ICT) at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research,  UGPE, Tunisia & European commission since March 2017.

 

Since February 2019, he has been appointed by the scientific council of the University of Sousse, head of the projects unit, and since then he has been a member of a strategy think thank committee of the University.
