Current activities in elucidation of structure-property-function relationships, and enzymatic catalysis (biodegradation) in heterogeneous phase for polysaccharides from plants and related nanocomplexes.
Polysaccharides and by-products characterization for applications in food, biomedicals, biomaterials and agriculture.
Methods development using mostly dynamic fractionation techniques (such as chromatographic techniques) and scattering techniques for the structural and the macromolecular characterization of biopolymers.
