*PERSONAL SUMMARY* In 1988, I obtained my Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Bordeaux, France. Then, I joined the CNRS (French Council Research Centre) in 1989 as Research Engineer in modeling and computation science. Since, I successively worked for three French laboratories in chemical and mechanical fields (LRGP, Nancy, ICA- Albi and RAPSODEE, Albi). In 2011, I successfully defended my HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches). My research is focused on mechanical material behaviours (continuum solid mechanics and particulate solids) and on finite element modeling (FEM) of forming process. Currently in the lab. of Particulate Solids and Processes of Ecole des Mines (RAPSODEE Albi, France), I develop research work on die and roll-compaction processes for pharmaceutical and mineral applications. I was involved in different projects (regional, national and European) and in a patent filing. I supervised PhD, postdoctoral, M. Sc students and gave training courses in high graduate schools and Universities in FEM modeling and Pharmaceutical Processes. A part of publication concerned damage modeling of composite material and hot rolling process, but the most scientific production focused on powder technology and dry granulation/compaction process with more forty publications and book chapters. *MAIN INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS AND TRAINING PROGRAMMES* - 2018-2021: Project funded by an Industrial Partner and the local Government of the region Midi-Pyrenees, on the damage modelling during the compaction of energetic material - 2017- 2020: Project funded by the Ecole des Mines and CNRS on the thermo-mechanical modeling aspects in compaction process of sensitive pharmaceutical powders to the temperature - 2013 - 2016: Partner of the European Project IPROCOM (the development of in silico process models for roll compaction - FP7-PEOPLE-ITN), which consists of 10 full partners and 15 ESR & ER - 2013 - 2015: Partner of an innovative project funded by a pharmaceutical company, a food company and the regional government. A new product for both health and nutrition was developed as part of this project, which resulted in a patent filing. - 2012 - 2013: Partner of industrial project with Lafarge Company on milling process modeling of mineral products - 2006 - 2008: Project IMCAT (Innovative Materials for CO2 Capture by Adsorption Technology) funded by the National Research Agency (ANR) and coordinated by Air-Liquid Company. Three laboratories (RAPSODEE, ICMUB, ENSCP) were implied in this research program to develop MOFs (Metal-Organic Frameworks) materials for catalysis applications. - 2005 - 2006: Collaborative project with the Chair of Process Engineering TU München–Weihenstephan funded by “le centre inter-universitaire Franco-Bavarois”. This project concerned “Numerical modeling of rolling compaction process” and gave opportunity to PhD students to have secondment in France and Germany (Dr. Stefan Haas & Dr. Daniela Herold from the lab. of Prof. K. Sommer). *AREAS OF EXPERTISE* *Elastic plastic behaviour Modeling; Computer Science; Finite Element Methods; Die & Roll Compaction process; hot rolling process; Material Characterizations*
