Abdelhamid is a Ph.D. student in engineering of complex systems at Paris Saclay University, CentraleSupelec, LGI.
He obtained an engineer diplome from Ecole Centrale Casablanca (Double degree) in 2021 and a master diplome in supply chain and operations management from CentraleSupelec.
His thesis focuses on optimizing the couple quality of spare parts and maintenance costs in a closed-loop supply chain in the medical field. The objective of the thesis is to provide decision support tools to ensure a supply chain of repaired parts optimized in terms of quality and costs (economic and ecological) based on reliability and data mining/analysis techniques. These tools should help maintenance managers decide optimal repair levels by considering reliability models created from historical data. This work is done under a research collaboration with the French industrial partner General Electric Healthcare.
