My research works fall under two main themes: MCDA (Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis) and uncertainties in IA (artificial intelligence). In MCDA, the aim is to develop multi-criteria decision support tools and methods where the targeted applications are: environmental assessment, waste management, risk management, etc. More specifically, the works focus on the preferences elicitation and preference learning techniques. Concerning uncertainties in AI, it concerns the developments of cautious algorithms for supervised classification or clustering when the data are affected by strong imperfections. The targeted applications are human movement, health and the automatic sorting of plastics for recycling purpose.
